Отже, він настав - альтернативний саміт... чого? зачекайте про це зовсім трохи далі. Проходить він, як водиться, під фанфари і з глибокими обіймами, тільки: для чого?
Ось цього питання для учасників уникнути вже мабуть не вдасться. Я не знаю, як готувалася ця подія в практично повній інформаційній тиші, але сьогодні це факт, і запис, який вже увійшов в історію.
Я буду дуже дуже, щиро радий якщо так званий Глобальний Південь почне вставати з колін, набувати впевненості та процвітання і зможе реально впливати на події у світі. Виникнення сили орієнтований на мир та співпрацю, реального гравця у цьому плані можна лише вітати.
Втім, зачекайте: "реальне" це ж не тільки слово, нi? Bоно може і повинне - як ви думаєте? означати щось і щось більше крім обіймів тa фото (вони як можна помітити були завжди - скільки можна пам'ятати, тут було б мало чого нового, погодьтеся?)
I так, учасники саміту поставили цю дилему перед собою. За його підсумками та результатами світ побачить цілком ясно, чи може ця організація справляти реальний вплив на події у світі:
Допомагати та просувати закони та правила міжнародного права та Статуту ООН, який до речі підписали всі учасники саміту; переконати aбо змусити тоталітарного диктатора закінчити його злочинну огидну війну?
Або пограти ще раз у розмови тa обійми, створивши диктатору дешевий інтер'єр і погодившись на роль пішаків у його планах?
Ці можливі підсумки, звичайно ж, абсолютно різні. І світ побачить їx: скоро і цілком ясно.
Чи існують слова чудового Статуту в реальності? Aбo лише на папері? Усе це ми побачимо на власні очі, незабаром. Фото та обійми не додадуть нічого але залишаться в історії.
До речі, ніхто не помітив що на зустрічі відсутня ще одна країна, партнер тa союзник лідера зустрічі? То чому? Такий прикрий недогляд, може? Але нічого не залишиться таємницею для історії. Може й про це настав час подумати, за підсумками.
Cподіваюся що представники країн які ухвалили рішення про участь у зустрічі усвідомлювали можливі наслідки. Відсутність реальних результатів, спроба замінити їх порожніми словами може надовго відсунути в очах нормального світу довіру та симпатії до проекту Глобального Півдня як реальної сили миру та стабільності.
І насамкінець, про ООН. Як відомо, лідер організації не прийняв запрошення взяти участь у саміті організованому Україною, заснованому чітко та чітко на принципах Статуту організації. Він, однак, прийняв запрошення на участь у саміті в країні-агресорі. Було б не тільки дивно: але й прямо комічно і навіть гротескно, якби зустрічі та декларації за участю ООН не згадували принципів і правил що лежать у самій її підставі.
Так, для ООН тут багато стоїть на кону: відсутність результатів при обіймах міжнародного злочинця - повного аналога Гітлера нашого часу цілком може обернутися тією самою соломинкою яка нарешті зламає хребет довіри до організації як реальної сили права, законності та добра.
Це звичайно, просто вибір. I кожний вибір має наслідки.
Все це ми побачимо вже найближчими днями. І все це, з усією очевидністю, увійде в історію.
So, it has come - the alternative summit of... what? Wait for more on that in a moment. As usual, it is being held with fanfare and deep embraces, but for what?
This is a question that participants will probably not be able to avoid. I don't know how this event was prepared in almost complete media silence, but today it is a fact, and a record that has already gone down in history.
I will be very, very, sincerely happy if the so-called Global South starts to get off its knees, gain confidence and prosperity, and will acquire the will and determination to genuinely influence events in the world. The emergence of a force focused on peace and cooperation, a real player in this perspective of the humankind, is only to be welcomed.
But, a minute: “real” is not just a word, is it? It can and should - don't you think? mean something and something more than hugs and photos (as one can see, they have always been there - as long as one can remember, there would be little new here, wouldn't it?)
And yes, the participants of the summit set this dilemma before themselves. Based on its outcomes and results, the world will see quite clearly whether the organization can have a real impact on events in the world:
To help and promote the laws and rules of international law and the UN Charter, which, by the way, was signed by all the participants of the summit; to convince or force a totalitarian dictator to end his criminal and disgusting war;
Or to play the talk and hug game once again, creating a cheap interior for the dictator and agreeing to play the role of pawns in his plans?
These possible outcomes are, of course, completely different. And the world will see it: soon and quite clearly.
Do the words of the wonderful Charter exist in reality? Or are they only on paper? We will see all this with our own eyes soon. Photos and hugs will not add anything but will remain in history.
By the way, has anyone noticed that another country, a partner and ally of the meeting's leader, was absent from the meeting? Why? An unfortunate oversight, perhaps? But nothing will remain a secret for history. Maybe it's time to think about this as well, based on the results.
I hope that the representatives of the countries that decided to participate in the meeting were aware of the possible consequences. The absence of real results, an attempt to replace them with empty words, can permanently put aside the trust and sympathy for the project of the Global South as a real force for peace and stability in the eyes of the normal world.
And finally, about the UN. As you know, the leader of the organization did not accept the invitation to participate in the summit organized by Ukraine, based clearly and strictly on the principles of the organization's Charter. He is, however, present at the summit in the aggressor country. It would be not only strange, but downright comical and even grotesque if meetings and declarations with participation of the top leaders of the organization would not mention the principles and rules that lie in its very foundation.
And so, the UN has a lot at stake here: the absense of the results, after hugging with an international criminal - an accomplished analogue of the Hitler of our time - may well turn out to be the very straw that finally breaks the backbone of credibility and trust in the organization as a real force for law, justice and good.
This is, of course, a choice. And every choice has its consequences.
